USA Nijmegen is the study association for students of American Studies at Radboud University Nijmegen. The association was founded in 1989, rebooted in 2003 and became an official study organization on March 22, 2005. The aim of the association is to improve the contact between students, faculty, and third parties. USA Nijmegen does this through organizing various events such as Movie Nights and academic field trips, but also parties, like the Mexican and Halloween Parties! The majority of our activities have an American theme, for instance our yearly Thanksgiving dinner and the Super Bowl.

USA Nijmegen also focuses on the connection between students from all years, as we strive to create a close connection between all our members regardless of their place within the American Studies program. Organizing the introduction week for new American Studies majors together with T.E.A. (The English Association) is an important part of this. During this week the freshmen are introduced to life in Nijmegen and American Studies by students from higher years, acting as their mentors.
